The failure to pay the 1,000 euro covid bonus to contract workers is being branded a disgrace.
The extra payment was promised to healthcare staff earlier this year, in recognition of their efforts during the pandemic.
However, according to one TD, thousands of contract workers – like porters and cleaners – are still awaiting the payment.
