Frustration over little progress on fire station plans for south Donegal



A Donegal Councillor has expressed his frustration over what’s been described as little to no progress on two seperate fire stations for Bundoran and Ballyshannon.

 

Currently, there is one fire station serving both communities and it’s thought with development and an increase in population there is never been a greater need for two.

 

Cllr Mick McMahon says while money is not an obstacle, the issue has been rumbling on for the best part of 40 years.
