Gardai in North West set to clampdown on road offences this weekend



Gardai in the North West are set to clampdown on various road offences this Bank Holiday weekend.

 

It comes as an urgent road safety appeal has been issued to all road users and Gardai are to target specific locations that analysis has shown a major risk of fatal collisions or other serious crashes.

 

Data from the Central Statistics Office indicates that the October bank holiday weekend is one of the busiest periods on Irish roads.
