INMO issue stark warning in relation to Hospital overcrowding



Hospital overcrowding this winter could be the worst we’ve ever seen.

 

That’s according to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation after 669 patients were left without a bed on Monday.

75 people were waiting on hospital trollies at the two main hospitals in the north west on Monday.

 

The national figure was the highest amount of patients waiting on trolleys in a single day in 2022.
