There are calls for further road upgrade works to be carried out at a number of key areas in Strandhill in Sligo.
It’s thought that there are a number of minor routes in the village that need attention.
Sligo County Council is being urged to explore all funding avenues in a bid to get the work done.
Local councillor, Arthur Gibbons, says Strandhill is a major tourist attraction and it would be in the interest of all concerned to have a road network in the area that is up to scratch:
