Sligo Rovers draw 3-3 with Dundalk

Sligo Rovers drew 3-3 with Dundalk in Friday night’s SSE Airtricity League Premier Division game at Oriel Park.

Goals from Frank Liivac, Aidan Keena (his 19th of the season) and Max Mata earned John Russell’s side a share of the spoils.

Mata’s goal put Rovers 3-2 up with seven minutes remaining – but Dundalk managed to find an equaliser in the 93rd minute to salvage a point.

Rovers boss John Russell spoke to Oisin Langan after the game:

At Dalymount Park, Ollie Horgan’s Finn Harps were denied a priceless away win against Bohemians with the Gypsies scoring a late equaliser to draw 2-2.

Harps drop to the bottom following UCD’s win over Drogheda.

At the top, Shamrock Rovers took a big step towards retaining their title with a 4-1 win at home to St Pat’s.

Derry City drew 1-1 with Shelbourne in an FAI cup final dress rehearsal at the Brandywell.

Friday night’s results
Dundalk 3 Sligo Rovers 3
Bohemians 2 Finn Harps 2
Shamrock Rovers 4 St Patrick’s Athletic 1
Derry City 1 Shelbourne 1
UCD 2 Drogheda United 1.
