Sligo’s Luke Bree joins Leitrim coaching team

Former Sligo and St Vincent’s (Dublin) footballer Luke Bree (pictured right) is joining the Leitrim senior football management ticket for 2023 as a coach.

Bree, who worked with Anthony Cunningham in Roscommon last season, will now be part of Andy Moran’s backroom team in Leitrim.

The Ransboro native won an All-Ireland club football title in 2013 with Dublin club St Vincent’s.

Leitrim boss Moran has had to re-jig his coaching team in recent weeks following the departure of Glencar/Manorhamilton’s James Glancy to Longford, where he will work alongside new manager there Paddy Christie.

Bree is a former Sligo senior footballer and is currently a PE teacher based at Summerhill College in the town.

He will now work alongside Andy Moran, Mike Solan and Barry McWeeney in overseeing the fortunes of the Leitrim senior footballers in 2023.
