Donegal Councillor calls on Minister to ensure Ireland doesn’t become ‘cashless society’



A south Donegal County Councillor is calling on the Finance Minister to ensure Ireland doesn’t become a cashless society.

It’s thought the overuse of cards and technology is having an effect on older people and those who want to use cash to budget their weekly outgoings.

Hotelier and Councillor Michael Naughton says if we don’t get a handle on it now, it could lead to serious problems in the long term
