St Nathy’s through to Sligo LGFA senior final



St Nathy’s produced a powerful display of championship football in south Sligo on Sunday morning to beat Tourlestrane on their own patch, on a final scoreline of 6-7 to 2-8, to book a place in the Sligo LGFA Connacht Gold senior championship final on Saturday October 8th.

Áine Gormley scored a personal tally of 4-2 – and the result sees Nathy’s finish top of the group standings on 13 points, one ahead of Tourlestrane.

 

This was Tourlestrane’s first defeat in the group stage of the competition, but all is not lost for Neil Egan’s side.

They must now prepare for semi-final meeting with Eastern Harps next weekend – with the winners set to face Nathy’s in the county decider on October 8th.
