Councillor warns that inadequate footpaths in Grange could lead to fatal accident



There are genuine fears that someone will be killed in Grange over what’s been described as inadequate footpaths on the main thoroughfare.

 

There have been ongoing calls for added safety measures throughout Grange for some time however so far there’s been little progress on the issue.

 

Sligo County Council says that assessments are underway with a view towards identifying the most appropriate measures.

 

Cllr Marie Casserly says the infrastructure is badly needed for the village and both the TII and the Council need to give a timeline as to when the works will finally take place:
