Drumcliff Primary Care Centre expected to be operational in September

The long running drama over the Primary care centre in Drumcliff seems to be drawing to a conclusion.

It’s expected that the centre will be in operation by the end of September.

Junior Minister and Sligo Leitrim TD, Frank Feighan says an agreement has been reached between the HSE and GPs at the centre.

The situation around the delay on the opening of the new facility has been ongoing for several months.

In recent days Sligo Sinn Fein councillor Thomas Healy had asked Sinn Féin Health Spokesperson David Cullinane to raise the issue directly with the Minister for Health to seek clarification on the situation.

Minster Feighan says the centre should be operational by the third week in September.
