As part of a National Anti-Dumping Initiative, Sligo County council are holding a Bulky Waste Collection and Paint Can Recycling Day on Saturday 27th August at Young’s Quarry, Ballisodare from 10am – 3pm.
It will be an opportunity for people to dispose of items such as furniture, trikes/scooters, carpets, paint cans, brushes and paint thinner among some of the items.
Other hazardous items won’t be accepted and it is only for domestic household, commercial and retail items will be turned away
