HIQA has today published the results of unannounced inspections the St Joseph’s Community Hospital in Stranorlar.
It was one of 45 inspections published by the health watch dog.
The inspectors found non-compliances in 5 areas at St Joseph’s.
In response management have outlined what measures are being taken to address the issues, and when those measures should be implemented.
Meanwhile there were 40 people this morning waiting on hospital beds at the north west’s two main Hospital’s today.
The figures represents a drop of 7 on yesterday’s figure.
There are 21 people currently waiting at Sligo University Hospital with 14 being reported to be in the emergency department.
Letterkenny University Hospital according to the latest INMO trolley watch figures have a total of 19 people waiting on a bed. There are also 14 people in the emergency department.
In total there are 431 people waiting for a bed at hospitals throughout the country.
The highest figure was reported at University Hospital Limerick where there were 69.
