An investigation is continuing into an alleged weekend assault in west Donegal.
The incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday morning last between 1am and 3am.
When Gardai arrived on scene, they found a man near the old Bank of Ireland on Main Street.
The man who is in his 50s had sustained multiple non-life threatening injuries and was taken to Letterkenny University Hospital for treatment.
Gardai are viewing CCTV footage in the area in a bid to ascertain what happened.
No arrests have yet been made.
They are also appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
