Tir Chonaill Athletic Club’s Lucy McGlynn missed out on a semi-final place in the women’s 400 metres hurdles at the World Under-20 Athletics Championships in Colombia by one hundreth of a second on Tuesday night.
The Coláiste Colmcille Ballyshannon student finished fifth in her first round heat in a time of 1:00.30secs
1:00.29secs made it through to the semi-finals.
McGlynn goes in the heats her other event, the women’s 100 metres hurdles, on Thursday.
