Downings are the Marley Travel Division 2 league champions in Donegal for 2022 after winning a dramatic league final on Sunday after extra-time with the very last kick of the game.
Trailing by two points with time up, Johnny McGroddy fired a last-gasp free through a forest of Malin backs and into the net to give his side a dramatic one-point victory.

Malin have the consolation of being already promoted to Division 1 next season.
Meanwhile, in the Division 2 promotion play-off, MacCumhaill’s beat Milford to 2-16 to 0-10 to also ensure the Ballybofey club’s return to the top division in 2023.
