Mohill edge past Ballinamore in top-of-the-table clash

Leitrim Masonite Division 1 leaders Mohill edged past county champions Ballinamore Seán O’Heslins in Ballinamore on Friday night in a top-of-the-table clash with Eamonn Hara’s side winning by a single point, 1-12 to 1-11.

The result, coupled with St Mary’s victory over Annaduff, means that it will be Mohill and St Mary’s who will contest the Division 1 league final next weekend.

Ballinamore drop to third on 10 points.

Friday’s win made it six wins out of seven in the league for Mohill – their only dropped point being a draw last weekend against Glencar/Manorhamilton.
