AIB urged to include Manorhamilton branch in recent u-turn



A leading farm official has called on AIB to include the branch in Manorhamilton in the recent U turn on plans which proposed making 70 branches cashless.

 

AIB successfully implemented a similar move as it relates to the branch in the north Leitrim town earlier this year.

 

The transition of Manorhamilton to a bank without cash services was met with strong local resistance at the time.

 

Local community activist and IFA farm official Kevin Comiskey is now calling on AIB to reverse the move.

 

Speaking to Ocean FM news the Leitrim based farmer says the community in Manorhamilton is as entitled to the same bank services as the rest of the country:
