Gardaí in Drumshanbo are continuing with their investigation after an alleged assault that took place in the town earlier this week.
The incident is reported to have taken place on the bridge street area of town early on Thursday morning.
A female, aged in her 50s and her daughter believed to be in here mid-teens were assaulted.
The injuries they sustained in the incident are understood to be non-life threatening.
Gardai say Investigations ongoing.
