There were 67 people waiting at the two main North West hospitals this morning.
39 people were waiting at Sligo University Hospital while a further 28 were waiting at Letterkenny.
Nationally, there were 372 people waiting at hospitals across the country today with Limerick University Hospital the most overcrowded – 51 people waiting there.
