North Sligo Athletic Club’s Chris O’Donnell has qualified for the semi-finals of the men’s 400 metres at the World Athletics Championships in Oregon.
O’Donnell finished fourth in his heat on Sunday evening in a time of 46.01 secs to claim one of the six quickest time qualification spots and secure his place in the semi-finals.
