The PRO of the Mica Action Group believes the decision taken by Fine Gael and Donegal TD Joe McHugh to vote against a motion of no confidence is only prolonging the current Government in power and thereby prolonging the misery of Mica homeowners.
The vote comes as the Oireachtas prepare to take its summer break on Thursday.
The Government formally lost its majority last week when Deputy Joe McHugh voted against his colleagues over the Mica redress package.
However, Deputy McHugh will be voting in support of the government, despite losing the party’s whip.
