Northwest Agricultural shows benefit from funding package



Agricultural shows are getting underway across the northwest

A €700,000 funding package supporting Ireland’s agricultural shows was announced in May of this year Minister for Community and Rural Development Heather Humphreys

Traditional agricultural shows have been heavy disrupted for over 2 and a half years due to the pandemic.
Four agricultural shows in the North West will receive six thousand euro each in funding from the found as they get underway in Sligo over the summer season

Councillor Marie Casserly has been speaking to oceanfm news she has welcomed the funding saying it’s an opportunity to keep or rural and traditional customs alive.
