Local TD says vote of no confidence will offer an opportunity for change



A Sligo Leitrim TD says all TD’s will have an opportunity to make change happen when they will vote in a motion of no confidence in the government that is expected to take place next week.

 

Sinn Fein Deputy Martin Kenny has accused the government of going from one crisis to another when it comes to dealing with the withdrawal Cath Lab Services at Sligo University Hospital and the provision of the defective blocks redress scheme.

 

The Sinn Fein Parliamentary Party have confirmed that they will table a motion of no confidence in the government.

 

Donegal TD Fine Gael Joe McHugh resigned the Fine Gael party whip earlier this week over the mica redress scheme, a move which caused the government to lose its Dáil majority.

 

Speaking  to Ocean FM news the Sligo Leitrim TD  says the government are out of touch with the public and their failure to adequately tackle the cost of living crisis has angered many:
