Bala Town v Sligo Rovers LIVE this Thursday



Sligo Rovers Europa Conference League 1st qualifying round first leg tie with Bala Town FC of Wales will be broadcast live on Ocean FM this Thursday evening from 7pm.

Donal Ryan will introduce live coverage of Rovers big European game from 6:45pm – with match commentary from 7pm from Austin O’Callaghan and former Sligo Rovers player John Dillon.

The game is being played at Park Hall Stadium, home of Welsh Premier League champions ‘The New Saints’ in Shrophsire.

Bala’s home ground of Maes Tegid does not currently meet UEFA’s seating requirements.

Bala finished runners-up in last season’s Welsh Premier League to clinch their place in Europe.

Despite being a part-time club, they’ve qualified for Europe in eight of the past 10 seasons.

Thursday’s first leg is also being streamed live at a cost of £7 (sterling) – streaming details here.

The return leg at the Showgrounds takes place on Thursday, July 14th.

LOITV confirmed on Wednesday that it will stream the second leg live – the match will also be live on Ocean FM.

The winners of this first qualifying round tie will face Scottish Premiership side Motherwell in round two on July 21st.
