Pringle calls for clarity over appropriate school places



There are calls on the Government to publish data on the number of children without an appropriate school place in September.

 

It’s after a snap survey showed at least 267 children are in that position, a number of which are in the North West.

 

The survey was carried out by AsIAm, Ireland’s national autism charity.

 

Speaking in the Dail, Independent TD for Donegal Thomas Pringle says the issue is deeply troubling and the Government needs to ensure that there are adequate resources for all children to get the education they deserve:
