Mica homeowners to initiate High Court proceedings



Hundreds of homeowners who are impacted by Mica Defective blocks are to initiate High Court proceedings.

 

They are suing the company that made the defective blocks, Donegal Co Council and a state body the National Standards Authority of Ireland.

 

A redress scheme was signed off on by Government this week and also extended to Mica affected homeowners in Clare and Limerick.

 

The High Court case is being funded by two Donegal businessmen who have set up Defective Blocks Ireland.
