A Donegal Councillor has expressed her shock and disbelief that more is not being done with vacant and derelict buildings in towns and villages to address the current accommodation crisis that is impacting the County.
The demand for accommodation in Donegal has been intensified by the current mica situation and the arrival of refugees from Ukraine.
Donegal MD Councillor Niamh Kennedy says people are presenting as homeless despite over 7.500 properties though to be lying vacant in the Donegal.
