Leitrim Joint Policing Committee meeting hears positive news on Kinlough Garda Station

This week’s meeting of the Joint policing committee in Leitrim received positive news in relation to the upgrade works at Kinlough Garda Station.

Local Councillor Justin Warnock had tabled a motion calling for a timescale to be provided when works would be completed at local station.

The motion submitted by the local councillor also called for designated opening times to be introduced for members of the public to attend the station.

Cllr Warnock says Chief Superintendent Aidan Glacken has received assurances from the OPW in relation to upgrade works being carried out at the station and that the Garda station in Kinlough will also have designated opening hours for members of the public.
