The newly announced President of the Garda Representative is hopeful that recruitment issues and equipment within An Garda Siochana will be addressed during his tenure.
Donegal based Garda Brendan O’Connor was announced as President of the GRA at its annual conference in Westport this week.
Garda O’Connor previously held the role of vice-president.
