Gardaí issue travel advice for Donegal & Armagh GAA fans

Gardai are asking motorists attending the Ulster Senior Football Championship Quarter Final between Donegal and Armagh in Ballybofey to be considerate when parking their vehicles.

Kick off is at 2pm.

Gardai are appealing to all those attending today’s game to have consideration for the local people in the area of the football park and to park only where it is legal and safe to do so.

Parking is also an ongoing issue in the area near Markievicz Park in Sligo during matches there.

Today in Ballybofey, people are also asked to ensure they are not blocking access for emergency vehicles, and to leave extra time for the journey today if intending to travel to/through Ballybofey as large crowds are expected.
