Road has reopened, original story below;
A section of the N59 outside Ballisodare, between Corhownagh and Lugawarry, remains closed this morning following Friday’s road traffic collision.
Gardaí say they aim to have the road reopened in the early afternoon.
Diversions are in place however motorists are advised to take alternative routes if possible as significant delays can be expected.
A second road traffic collision also occurred on the N59 yesterday on the Sligo side of the Skreen Medical Centre.
The road was reduced to one lane but has now fully reopened to motorists.
