Local residents unhappy with delays to repair works in Ballinaglera

Concerns are being raised in Ballinaglera when repair works on local roads and infrastructure damaged by flooding last August will commence.

Funding to the value of 155,000 has been earmarked by the OPW for repair works to take place in the Leitrim village.

It’s understood that procurement works have been carried out for the project.

Local residents are concerned that a repeat of the severe floods which impacted the area last summer could cause further damage.

Councillor Enda McGloin says it’s important that the work is carried out as soon as possible
