Sligo/Leitrim TD and Minister of State for Public Health, Wellbeing and the National Drugs Strategy, Frank Feighan has begun preparations for the citizens assembly on drug use.
It’s aimed to commence the assembly in early 2023 with it’s report to be submitted to government by the end of the year.
Minister Feighan says the current government have implemented a number of health led changes over the years such as the National Drugs Strategy.
Speaking to OceanFM News, he says the assembly will continue the conversation in this way.
