Grammar Junior Rugby team reach School’s Cup Final

Sligo Grammar School’s Junior Rugby team have emulated their Senior schoolmates by reaching the final of the Connacht Junior Cup following an eight points to five victory over Summerhill College on Thursday afternoon in Strandhill.

There was nothing to separate the sides throughout the game with the score level at five points apiece at half-time. A second half penalty was enough to see the Grammar through to the final against Marist College Athlone.
