Mark English and Chris O’Donnell have been selected on a 19-strong Team Ireland squad to compete at the World Indoor Athletics Championships in Belgrade, Serbia.
Finn Valley A.C.’s Mark English runs in the 800 metres and the 4×400 metre relay at the championships which run from 18-20 March.
Meanwhile, Grange native and North Sligo A.C. member Chris O’Donnell also runs in the 4×400 metre relay.
Other athletes representing Ireland at the championships include Irish national record holder Molly Scott (60 metres in 7.19) and fellow sprinter Israel Olatunde who recently ran 60 metres in a blistering 6.62, securing the World Indoor standard in the process.
