EJ Sligo All-Stars are assured of top spot in the North Conference of the men’s national league Division 1 following Saturday night’s 92-67 win against the Titans of Galway at the Mercy College gym.
Despite being without Cian Lally and Oisin O’Reilly for the game, the All-Stars cruised to a 25-point victory with Keith Jordan topscoring with 31 points.
Zach Powell chipped in with 30 points.
The top four teams from the northern and southern conferences will qualify for the end-of-season play-offs.
Now that they’re assured of top spot in the north conference, the All-Stars will face the fourth-placed team from the southern conference in the play-off quarter-finals.
They still have two regulation league games to play before the play-offs begin.
