McConalogue proposing €20,000 for every pig farmer



Agriculture Minister and Donegal TD Charlie McConalogue is to seek Cabinet approval for pig farmers to be given a once-off payment of 20,000 euro each.

Minister McConalogue is proposing seven million euro is divided among the 300 pig farmers across the country, due to the rising cost of feed and falling pig prices.
