Leitrim and Donegal Ladies make it two wins from two

Leitrim and Donegal Ladies made it two wins from two in their respective Lidl Ladies National Football League campaigns on Sunday afternoon.

Following their victory over Fermanagh in Round One, Hugh Donnelly’s charges faced another Ulster side in Derry at Celtic Park.

Three points from the boot of Michelle Guckian and a goal from Elise Bruen proved the deciding factors as Leitrim top the Division 4A heading into Round Three when they host Antrim on Sunday, March 6th.

Two first half goals and four points from Glenfin’s Karen Guthrie propelled Donegal to top of Division 1A with a five-point victory over Westmeath at St. Loman’s GAA 3G surface in Mullingar.

Maxi Curran’s team battled hard against the elements at the midlands venue and can look forward to a trip to Mayo on Sunday, March 6th in Round Three.
