Local sporting fixtures fall victim to the weather

Several sporting fixtures across the north west have been affected by the overnight fall of snow.

The following fixtures, scheduled for Saturday, have been postponed:

In Ulster, the Donegal GAA Centre of Excellence pitches in Convoy are snow-covered and all activity for Saturday and Sunday has been cancelled. Both of Donegal’s under-20 football and hurling development league games have been moved.

MacCumhaill Park in Ballybofey has been deemed unplayable so the football game between Donegal under-20s and Derry moves to Celtic Park in Derry today at 2pm. The hurling fixture between Donegal and Down is moved from Convoy to Carndonagh at 12pm.
