65% of those in the franchise area of Sligo-North Leitrim-South Donegal are tuning into Ocean FM every week.
That’s according to the latest JNLR-MRBI radio listenership survey, published today.
Ocean now has 50% of a weekday listenership in its franchise area, which compares with 24% for RTE Radio 1, 15% for Today FM, 10% for Newstalk and 10% for 2FM.
That represents the third highest independent local radio listenership figure in Ireland, with Mid West Radio on 62% and Highland Radio on 51%.
Ocean’s Market Share figure stands at 44.4%.
