Aodh Ruadh Ballyshannon have ratified outgoing Kilcar manager John McNulty as their new bainisteoir for the 2022 season.
McNulty, who stood down as Kilcar manager at the end of last season, succeeds Barry Ward at the Ballyshannon club.
Sligo GAA Games Promotion Officer, and Tyrone native, Aran McGowan will be part of McNulty’s coaching team in Ballyshannon.
Aodh Ruadh made a long-awaited return to senior championship football in 2021 and drew with Naomh Conaill in the group stages before bowing out to St Michael’s in the quarter-finals.
McNulty, who also previously managed St Naul’s, guided Kilcar to the county final in 2020 and the semi-finals 12 months later.
