A Donegal County Councillor and Hotel Manager is warning of serious challenges facing the Tourism and Hospitality sectors in relation to attracting staff to work in the sector.
There are currently an estimated 40 thousand vacancies across the tourism sector. New Fáilte Ireland research reveals many businesses have cut opening hours and reduced menus due to staff shortages.
The Vintners Federation of Ireland says chefs in particular are in short supply.
