Failure to check goods entering into the North could be breaking international Law

The failure to Check  goods travelling from Britain into Northern Ireland is breaking international laws and will sour future talks on the Protocol between the EU and the UK.

That’s according to a  representative for the Border Communities against Brexit Group.

The UK government said it wouldn’t intervene following the move by Northern Ireland Agriculture Minister, Edwin Poots.

The DUP minister says he acted on legal advice, but is being accused by the Irish government and other Stormont parties of breaking international law.

Damian McGenity from the Border Communities, who is against Brexit says the move could be diradical.
