Organisers of the Bundoran St Patrick’s Day Parade have announced this morning that this year’s event will be going ahead.
The parade hasn’t taken place since 2019 because of Covid restrictions.
Parade Director John O Connell said St Patrick’s Day traditionally marks the start of the tourism season in Bundoran.
He said they will be revealing the theme for this year’s parade in the coming weeks.
Speaking to Ocean FM News, Bundoran Tourism Officer Shane Smyth says the announcement that the parade will go ahead this year has already generated a sense of excitement and anticipation in the town.
