People can book to visit a patient at Sligo University Hospital from today.
Visiting times are between 6pm and 8pm and a patient can have one visit per day lasting up to 30 minutes but must be pre arranged with the relevant ward before arriving at the hospital.
Visitors will be required to show proof of vaccination or immunity at the entrance to the hospital due to national guidance in relation to hospitals while Photo ID may also be requested.
People are asked to delay their visit if they have any symptoms of Covid-19, have been in contact with someone with the virus or are awaiting the results of a test.
