IT Sligo senior gaelic footballers begin their 2022 Sigerson Cup campaign on Tuesday evening, when they travel south to take on University of Limerick at 7pm.
The team is managed this year by Benji Drummond.
The UL team is led by Kerry All-Star David Clifford.
Letterkenny IT Sligo, who are managed this year by Maxi Curran, are also in action on Tuesday evening. They take on IT Carlow.
In a change to the Sigerson format this year, the losers of round 1 matches will get a second chance via a ‘back-door’ game in round 2.
