Figures from the Health Protection Surveillance Centre shows Sligo and Leitrim were among the counties with the lowest number of Covid-19 deaths nationally between March 2020 to December 14th 2021.
The figure for Sligo was 41 and 30 for Leitrim.
There were 221 such deaths in County Donegal and 125 in Cavan.
The figures show that nationally, more than six out of every seven people who died with Covid in Ireland since the beginning of the pandemic, had a serious underlying medical condition.
