Border anti-Brexit group says positive messages about Northern Ireland Protocol not being heard

A member of the Border Communities Against Brexit group says the positive messages about the Northern Ireland Protocol and its advantages for the area are not being heard.

Damien McGenity says the Protocol protects against a hard border and gives Northern Ireland a unique advantage when it comes to access to European markets.

Last weekend, a number of protests took place along the border to highlight the importance of the Protocol and calling on British Prime Minister Boris Johnson to back off this threat to invoke Article 16.

Damien McGenity was among those who took part in the weekend protests.
