A Sligo Councillor is calling for a civic reception to take place to acknowledge the acts of a Sligo woman who received a bravery award recently for rescuing three teenagers from the sea.
Zoe Lally received a Silver Medal at the National Bravery Award at held in Farmleigh House last weekend for her actions in the saving of three teenagers from drowning off Easkey Pier.
Sligo Independent Councillor Michael Clarke says a civic reception should be held in honour of Zoe as soon as possible
